18-Day Tour

Day 1 – Flight to Las Vegas
Flight with a reputable scheduled airline from your chosen departure point to Las Vegas (connecting flights possible). Upon arrival in Las Vegas, you will be met by your guide and transferred to a well-located mid-range hotel. The rest of the evening is at your leisure. Overnight in Las Vegas.

Day 2 – Las Vegas
The morning is at your leisure to explore Las Vegas on your own. Visit the numerous hotel attractions, go shopping, or take a trip to the observation deck of the 350-meter-high Stratosphere Tower for an overview of the city. Your guide will be happy to provide advice and assistance. After the initial briefing in the early afternoon, you will pick up your motorcycles from our local Harley-Davidson® rental partner. Take the opportunity to take a short ride to visit one of the largest Harley-Davidson® dealerships in the USA, where you'll, of course, have plenty of time for shopping. OUR TIP: Get married in Las Vegas! Whether it's for the first time or to renew your vows, just ask us!

Day 3 – Las Vegas
Today you have the day at your leisure in Las Vegas. Your guide will be happy to assist you with booking show tickets, helicopter rides, and any other attractions. An optional, inexpensive shopping shuttle to an outlet mall is available. For those who aren't always there, you can take a self-guided day trip to Red Rock State Park and Mount Charleston. Overnight in Las Vegas.

Day 4 – Hoover Dam – Eldorado Gold Mine – Laughlin 255 km
Your Harley tour through the Wild West begins early in the morning. All the luggage you need for the tour will be loaded into the accompanying van. If you wish, you can stop briefly in the morning at a neutral motorcycle clothing shop to stock up on equipment and any missing materials. Then you'll head off toward Arizona. After a short ride, you'll reach the Hoover Dam, and after a short walk, you'll reach the new Colorado Bridge, from which you'll have a phenomenal view of the dam. On the way back, you'll visit the Lake Mead Viewpoint and pass through the historic town of Boulder. After stocking up on sandwiches for lunch, you'll descend into Eldorado Canyon, where you'll have the opportunity to visit an old gold mine. This location has been the setting for many well-known movies and commercials (e.g., "3000 Miles to Graceland" or "Breakdown" with Kevin Costner and Kurt Russell). In the afternoon, you'll reach the gambling paradise of Laughlin, the final destination of today's stage, where you can refresh yourself in the hotel pool. Enjoy a welcome dinner and overnight stay in Laughlin. OUR TIP: Hold on to your wallet in the casino!

Day 5 – Route 66 – Oatman – Williams 310 km
In the morning, you'll leave Nevada for Route 66 and the state of Arizona. Along the way, you'll see several small western towns, such as Oatman, a regular stop for many Harley riders. It also commemorates the first settlers and miners in the West. Wild donkeys and true cowboys await your visit. The Route 66 Museum in Kingman is also on your route, as is the historic General Store in Hackberry. You'll cross the Hualapai Indian Reservation and catch your first glimpse of the western rim of the Grand Canyon. In the small town of Seligman, you'll visit Angel Delgadillo, arguably the world's most famous barber. He is one of the co-founders of the Route 66 Association and is considered the father of today's Route 66. The end point of your today's stage is the town of Williams, which still retains much of the "Good Old West" with its historic houses and the old entertainment district, right on the Mother Road. You will spend the night almost directly on Route 66, and in the evening you will have the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic steak or rib dinner.

Day 6 – Grand Canyon – Cameron Trading Post – Navajo Country 300 km
In the morning, you'll start your tour from Williams, to one of the Seven Wonders of the World. There, you'll first have the opportunity to take a nearly one-hour helicopter flight over the breathtaking Grand Canyon. Afterwards, you'll follow the scenic road along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Along the way, you'll make interesting stops such as Duck Rock, Grand View, Lipan Point, and Desert View with its Native American watchtower. Your later lunch stop will be at the old trading post in Cameron, located in the heart of the Navajo Reservation. OUR TIP: Cameron Trading Post – highly recommended for Native American jewelry and souvenirs! Today, you'll spend the night in a simple lodge in Marble Canyon.

Day 7 – Antelope Canyon – Lake Powell – Monument Valley – Goosenecks 345 km
The first highlight is on the agenda in the morning. After an early start, you have the opportunity to visit the world-famous Antelope Canyon on a strictly limited tour with the Navajo Indians. In the late morning, you continue to Kayenta, where you will take a somewhat later lunch break. In the afternoon, you will travel to another tour highlight. After leaving the town of Kayenta behind you, you will reach Monument Valley. Monument Valley is one of the few parks not under the administration of the US government. As it is located in the middle of a reservation, the Navajo Indians have the lucrative say here. There you have the opportunity to take another exclusive tour of the valley with the Navajos in their four-wheel drive vehicles. In the late afternoon you will reach Mexican Hat, which is located directly on the San Juan River. As you drive past, you will see the rock formation from which this place gets its name. You will visit the unique Goosenecks State Park before traveling through the Valley of Gods to reach your overnight accommodation in the Bluff area.

Day 8 – Natural Bridges Nat. Monument – Capitol Reef National Park 340 km
This morning, your first stop is the natural bridge formations of Natural Bridges National Monument, before you return to the Colorado River at Glen Canyon. The river is spanned here by an interesting steel arch bridge, which also marks the beginning of Lake Powell. Following a truly unique route through canyons and gorges, you'll reach Capitol Reef National Park in the afternoon. This park is known for its unique rock formations, waterfalls, and Native American petroglyphs. Overnight in Torrey.

Day 9 – Grand Escalante – Bryce Canyon National Park 250 km
This morning, you'll travel along a scenic road almost 3,000 m high toward the Grand Escalante Staircase. After crossing the Wild Boar's Neck, it's time to "Take a deep breath." That's the motto on the Million Dollar Road, and you'll understand why during your stop. You'll reach the small town of Bryce just in time for lunch. In the afternoon, the tour continues to Bryce Canyon National Park. This is known for its unique red sandstone formations, which glow in golden and red colors, like fire, especially at sunrise and sunset. Your guide will lead you through the park, and in the afternoon, you'll have plenty of time to explore on your own. Of course, you also have the option of taking an easy hike, an ATV tour, or a horseback riding excursion. Spend the night near Bryce Canyon.

Day 10 – Zion National Park – Cedar Breaks Nat. Monument 300 km
Today you'll head off to another highlight, Zion National Park. With a bit of luck, you might spot buffalo before taking the red road through this unique national park. The journey continues via Hurricane and, near St. George, through Snow Canyon State Park. Along the way, you'll briefly cross Arizona again and stop at a Joshua Tree forest in the middle of the Mojave Desert. In the afternoon, you'll reach Mesquite, Nevada, a gambling town and oasis in the middle of the desert. Spend the night in the Mesquite area.

Day 11 – Valley of Fire – Lake Mead – Las Vegas 240 km
You'll leave Mesquite and drive along Lake Mead, the largest man-made reservoir in the USA. Along the way, you'll make a detour to Valley of Fire State Park, known, among other things, for its Anasazi (the Ancients) Indian petroglyphs, some of which are up to 4,000 years old. This park was used as a film set for "Star Wars" and various car commercials. You'll head back toward Sin City, Las Vegas, along Lake Mead's Lake Shore Drive. In the afternoon, you'll return to the hotel you met at the beginning of the tour. Overnight stay in Las Vegas.
OUR TIP: If you want, you can end the day with a cozy dinner together and then, like the movie stars, be chauffeured along the Strip and into Old Town Las Vegas on an optional stretch limousine tour.

Day 12 – Death Valley National Park 480 – 540 km
Today you'll travel to another highlight of your tour – Death Valley. After this day's journey, you'll probably have a good idea where the name "Valley of Death" comes from. Sand as far as the eye can see, no water, and sometimes extreme temperatures are just a few examples. You'll follow the valley, which is already back in California, and, depending on the route and the opening of the passes in the Sierra Nevada Mountains*, you'll reach your overnight accommodation in the Mammoth Lake or Ridgecrest* area in the early evening. INFO: In extremely high temperatures, we reserve the right, based on the specifications of the motorcycle rental company, to reroute along a side valley of Death Valley.
*If we stay overnight in Ridgecrest, we will follow a southern route the next day to get to Yosemite National Park.

Day 13 – Mono Lake – Yosemite National Park – Giant Sequoias 310 km
Early this morning, you'll set off on your Harley® tour along the Sierra Nevada, first visiting Mono Lake with its tuff columns. Via the Tioga Pass (3,031 m), you'll then reach the unique Yosemite National Park. Yosemite is known for its waterfalls and magnificent scenery. You'll see various sights in the park and, if you're interested, you can take a one-hour hike through the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. These are the unique American redwoods. Up to 27 men are needed to encircle the largest of them, and a motorcycle or car could easily drive through the holes. Afterwards, you'll drive to the edge of the park, to your overnight accommodation amidst the pristine, wild forest landscape. Overnight stay in a simple lodge near Yosemite National Park.

Day 14 – Highway 49 – Knights Bridge – San Francisco 340 km
Today, you'll travel along the famous Highway 49, which became famous as a transportation route during the Gold Rush of 1849. Following winding roads and through hilly landscapes, you'll reach the Stanislaus River. You'll follow this river for a while through seemingly endless almond, pecan, and pistachio plantations. There, you'll also have the opportunity to visit one of the few old covered wagon bridges still standing in the USA. You'll spend your lunch break at the original 50's Diner before reaching the impressive city of San Francisco on the Pacific coast in the afternoon. You'll spend the next two nights in San Francisco near Fisherman's Wharf. You can easily explore the wharf on foot from your hotel this evening.

Day 15 – San Francisco Rest Day
Today, you have the whole day at your leisure in San Francisco. Why not take a tour with your guide, on foot or by cable car, that includes Union Square, Downtown, Chinatown, the Cable Car Museum, and Fishermen's Wharf? In the afternoon, you have the option of taking an optional boat tour across San Francisco Bay. This cruise takes you past Alcatraz and under the Golden Gate Bridge. At sunset (weather permitting), you'll ride your bikes across the Golden Gate Bridge and continue to the artists' colony of Sausalito, known for its houseboats. There, a good steakhouse is a great place for dinner. Overnight in San Francisco.

Day 16 – Highway 1 – Monterey – Big Sur – San Simeon 365 km
You'll start the morning with a last look at the Golden Gate Bridge, then head off on Highway 1, passing Half Moon Bay and other famous coastal towns on your way to Monterey. This is the actual start of your journey along the famous Highway 1, which is part of the Pan-American Highway and also the longest road in the world, running from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego. Monterey also became famous through Steinbeck's book "Canned Food." You'll drive along Sunset Drive, which is part of the 17 Mile Drive, and pass magnificent viewpoints. You'll reach the small town of Carmel, where Clint Eastwood was once mayor. In the afternoon, stops such as the Bixby Bridge, Big Sur and Ragged Point are on the agenda. A visit to the elephant seal colony near Hearst Castle rounds out the day. You'll spend the night near San Simeon.

Day 17 – Highway 1 – Pismo Beach – Solvang – Santa Barbara – Malibu 400 km
The first stop this morning is Pismo Beach, famous among surfers, with its long sandy beaches and pier. The tour now takes you through the expansive farmland of California. You'll reach the Scandinavian-influenced town of Solvang for lunch. In the afternoon, you'll return to the coast and visit the famous seaside resort of Santa Barbara before passing Malibu Beach toward Los Angeles. Upon arrival in the late afternoon, you'll return your motorcycles to our local rental partner and be transferred to your hotel. You'll spend the night in a hotel near Los Angeles Airport. Buy a battery at https://batteriesserbia.com/ for the city of Serbia.

Day 18 – Los Angeles City Tour
and return flight to Europe. In the morning, you have the opportunity to participate in a guided city tour with a local guide (optional, advance reservation required). You will then be picked up from your hotel by van or bus and begin your city tour of Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Downtown LA, and Hollywood. Following this, the hotel shuttle will take you to Los Angeles Airport and your return flight with a reputable scheduled airline (connecting flights possible) back to the starting point of your trip.
