Day 1: Flight to New York
Your adventure begins! You'll fly from Germany to New York with a renowned airline.

Welcome to the city that never sleeps!
New York City – one of the world's most impressive metropolises! With around 20 million inhabitants, it's not only a global trade and economic hotspot, but also a cultural center second to none. Explore the bohemian districts of SoHo and Greenwich Village, immerse yourself in the energy of Broadway and Times Square, or be captivated by the charm of Wall Street and Fifth Avenue.

Marvel at the iconic skyscrapers, stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge, and visit highlights like the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty. Whether it's galleries, museums, or the unique atmosphere – your unforgettable adventure begins here!

Day 2: Your motorcycle is waiting for you
Today you'll pick up your bike in New York City—on Staten Island. The station is open between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., so get ready for the start of your adventure!

New York – New Haven (approx. 130 km)
From the vibrant metropolis of New York City, the first leg takes you north on Highway I-95 to the charming coastal town of New Haven.

Here you can visit the famous Yale University. Students offer free tours that provide fascinating insights. Don't miss highlights like the Peabody Museum and the impressive Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library.
Overnight stay in New Haven.

Day 3: From New Haven to Cape Cod (approx. 278 km)
Today we continue along the Atlantic to the picturesque Cape Cod peninsula.

Cape Cod
Cape Cod awaits you with long sandy beaches and a maritime flair. Discover lively Falmouth, flower-filled cottages in Orleans, or the windswept dunes around Eastham and Truro. Provincetown, at the northern tip of the Outer Cape, beckons with quirky shops, restaurants, and stunning beaches. Maybe you'll even fancy a whale-watching tour!

The offshore islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket can be reached by ferry or small plane—ideal for exploring by bike or scooter. And don't forget to visit the JFK Museum in Hyannis—a highlight for history and culture lovers.

2 nights in Cape Cod

Day 5: From Cape Cod to Boston (approx. 150 km)
On the way to Boston, it's worth taking a short detour along Route 28 to the south of Cape Cod. A highlight for a short break is the Mashpee National Wildlife Refuge, where you can enjoy nature. Afterwards, head back to the mainland via Falmouth and Pocasset.

Welcome to Boston, one of the oldest and wealthiest cities in the USA! This New England metropolis is picturesquely situated on the Charles River and enchants with its European charm. Stroll along the Freedom Trail, visit impressive museums like the Museum of Fine Arts or the Museum of Science, and discover the city's highlights on a guided "Old Town Trolley" tour.

On a sunny day, be sure to stroll across Boston Common and enjoy a ride on the famous swan boats in the Public Garden. Boston will captivate you with its history and atmosphere.

Day 6: From Boston to Kennebunkport (approx. 145 km)
Today, we head north along the stunning Atlantic coast to Kennebunkport. Endless sandy beaches, picturesque peninsulas, and white lighthouses await you along the way. A special highlight is the romantic Ocean Avenue, from which you can see former President George Bush's summer residence.

Kennebunkport/Ogunquit
The small coastal community of Kennebunkport boasts a long tradition of shipbuilding. Many magnificent 17th-century captain's houses have been preserved and converted into charming guesthouses. Enjoy the region's rugged cliffs, offshore islands, and idyllic beaches.

Spend your day exploring the coastal towns, discovering maritime history, or simply relaxing on one of the many beaches.

Day 7: From Kennebunkport to the White Mountains (approx. 148 km)
Today, your journey takes you inland to the impressive White Mountains National Forest. There, you have the opportunity to rent canoes or explore the breathtaking natural surroundings on a hike.

White Mountains
The White Mountains offer exciting experiences year-round. The often snow-capped granite mountains gave the region its name and invite adventures—whether snow sports or warm-season activities.

An absolute highlight is the spectacular drive along the Kancamagus Highway from Lincoln to Conway. The town of North Conway is perfect for exploring the White Mountains on its many hiking trails. A trip to Mount Washington is also a must: from its summit, on a clear day, you can enjoy breathtaking views all the way to Canada.

Day 9: From the White Mountains to Burlington (approx. 150 km)
Today, we continue on to the verdant state of Vermont. Along the way, you can stop in the charming capital city of Montpelier before heading toward Lake Champlain and the small town of Burlington.

Burlington is located directly on picturesque Lake Champlain and boasts highlights such as the Church Street Marketplace and the romantic waterfront. A particularly sweet detour takes you to Waterbury, known for Ben & Jerry's ice cream. Here, you can take a factory tour and sample the delicious flavors. Overnight in Burlington.

Day 10: From Burlington to Lake Placid (approx. 98 km)
Diverse landscapes and breathtaking views await you on today's route. You'll cross Lake Champlain and drive into the lake-rich region of Lake Placid—a perfect destination for nature and outdoor lovers.

The charming winter sports resort is located in the Adirondack Park Mountains at an elevation of approximately 566 meters. Adirondack Park is the largest nature reserve in the USA outside of Alaska and almost as large as Vermont.

Lake Placid itself is famous for hosting the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics and offers year-round sporting adventures. Whether canoeing on Lake Placid or Mirror Lake, hiking in the surrounding mountains, or simply enjoying the fresh air – this place makes outdoor enthusiasts' hearts beat faster!

Day 12: From Lake Placid to Glens Falls (approx. 100 km)
The drive through the Adirondacks is a highlight, especially during the fall foliage. Lush forests, rushing rivers, and impressive mountain peaks make this stage an unforgettable experience.

Glens Falls, a charming, quiet small town in New York State, awaits you. Stroll through the cozy shopping streets, enjoy local restaurants and cafés, or be enchanted by the art and culture—for example, in museums, the theater, or the Civic Center, where the local ice hockey team plays. For nature lovers, the surrounding lakes, rivers, and forests offer countless opportunities to explore the outdoors.
1 night in Glens Falls.

Day 13: From Glens Falls to Cooperstown (approx. 183 km)
Today you will drive through rural New York to Cooperstown, which lies on the picturesque Otsego Lake.

Cooperstown
This historic small town with only one traffic light will captivate you with its charm. Visit the famous Baseball Hall of Fame or the Farmers Museum, which offers fascinating insights into the region's history. The town is named after the author James F. Cooper, who achieved worldwide fame with works such as Leatherstocking and The Last of the Mohicans.

Day 14: From Cooperstown to Newburgh (approx. 249 km)
From Cooperstown, the route takes you through the Hudson Valley to Newburgh – home of Orange County Choppers.

This charming city on the Hudson River is a paradise for motorcycle enthusiasts. Visit the Motorcyclepedia Museum, which showcases a fascinating collection of motorcycles. Relax in one of the riverfront restaurants or bars, or explore downtown.

A special highlight is Orange County Choppers. Paul Teutul Sr. and his team are among the world's best motorcycle designers. They became famous through the TV series American Chopper. Here you can marvel at unique bikes and be inspired.
1 night in Newburgh.

Day 15: Newburgh – New York (approx. 121 km)
On the way back, you'll drive along the picturesque Hudson Valley. Along the way, it's worth stopping at the famous West Point Military Academy.

The deductible on site is a maximum of US$2,000–US$5,000 and must be paid by the customer in the event of damage. Following the tour, the claim will be submitted, and the deductible costs will be reimbursed by our German reinsurer. INFO: Any recovery/towing costs are not covered and can be insured separately.

    • We recommend that you bring an International Driving Permit. However, this is only valid in conjunction with your national driving license.
