Discover North America's oldest border region, Baja California, Mexico. This tour takes you from downtown Los Angeles, past the Tijuana/Mexico border, to the tip of the Cabo San Lucas peninsula and back. As you drive along the coast on the famous Mexico Highway 1, you'll see giant cacti in the desert, a defining feature of this region's landscape. The two-lane Mex 1 is a thrilling drive. With light traffic, you can enjoy the scenic, long stretches of road. Another highlight is the Mexican culture, which you'll experience firsthand while enjoying the food at rustic roadside restaurants. This trip is a must for anyone seeking an exciting adventure. Good to advanced driving skills are recommended.

1. Day: Los Angeles
Arrival at Los Angeles Airport and individual travel to your hotel. At 4 p.m., the EagleRider team will welcome you to a welcome event and provide you with useful information for the upcoming tour. In the evening, you'll meet your fellow riders at a welcome dinner before embarking on the adventure the following day.

2||Day: Los Angeles – Ensenada – Trip kilometer: approx||320 km
After a welcome breakfast, you will go to the EagleRider station where you will pick up your motorcycle.||After a brief introduction, you will drive your first few kilometers along the southern coast of California towards Tijuana, Mexico. Your first accommodation is located at the lively port of Ensenada||In the evening you can enjoy delicious traditional delicacies overlooking the impressive Ensenada Bay.  

3. Day: Ensenada – Catavina – Tag kilometer: approx. 366 km
The bustling port city is left behind and the route south is resumed. Branches of Cirio trees and giant cacti are piled up along the roadside. A little later you will reach one of the most fascinating places in this region, the Vizcaino Desert. There, alongside the dense vegetation, gigantic boulders protrude from the ground. At the end of the day you will reach your hotel in Catavina.  

4. Day: Catavina – San Ignacio – Trip kilometer: 377 km
Today you will cross the border between Baja Norte and Baja Sur. The difference between the landscapes will become noticeable relatively quickly. Ahead of you lies a breathtaking volcanic landscape, mountains dotted with cacti, and the enchanting little town of San Ignacio, a true desert oasis at the foot of a stream with date palms. You will be staying here today.  

5. Day: San Ignacio – Loreto – Trip kilometer: approx. 272 km
Ahead of you lies the journey to the gigantic „Volcan Las Tres Virgenes“. On switchbacks, away from „Devils Grade“, approach „Sea of Cortez“. Here you will stroll along beautiful shores, volcanic islands and secluded beaches, overlooking the dark blue ocean. You will arrive in Loreto, the oldest settlement on the West Coast, around the afternoon. The city has a lively city center with shopping opportunities and offers a wide selection of excellent restaurants.  

6. Day: Loreto – La Paz – Trip kilometer: 360 km
Today you will continue your journey south. They cross the desert on Highway Mex 1 and stop for lunch in Ciudad Constitucion. The tour then takes you east through the desert to the coast of the „ Sea of Cortez“ and finally to La Paz.

7. Day: La Paz – Cabo San Lukas - Trip kilometer: 215
It continues south along the Pacific coast. Via San Jose del Cabo, you'll travel along the coast of Bahia San Lucas, a popular pirate haven in the 16th and 17th centuries. Just before reaching your day's destination, Cabo San Lucas, you'll have a breathtaking view of „Land's End“, the southernmost tip of Baja California.

8.Day: Cabo San Lucas
Enjoy a relaxing day in the holiday resort of Cabo San Lucas. Spend time on the dreamy white beaches and stroll through the place. Here you can expect some nice restaurants and bars.

9. Day: Cabo San Lucas – Los Barilles – Trip kilometer: 112 km
The next morning we head north again. You will drive along the Sea of Cortez through Cabo Pulmo National Park. This is where Bahia Pulmo is located – home to the oldest of only three coral reefs on the west coast of North America. It is estimated to be 20,000 years old! A beautiful drive along the coast will then take you to Los Barilles.

10. Day: Los Barilles – Loreto – Trip kilometer: approx. 453 km
Today you will drive on Highway 1 through Ciudad Constitucion, where you will stop for lunch. In the afternoon, drive east to the coast of the Sea of Cortez and Loreto. Founded in 1697, Loreto is the oldest Spanish settlement on the Baja Peninsula.

11. Day: Loreto – Guerrero Negro – Trip kilometer: approx. 414 km
You are welcome to stop at one of the beautiful sandy beaches to cool off. Afterwards, lunch will be eaten in Mulege, a small Mexican village. Back on the road, we continue from Santa Rosalia to San Ignacio. From there you will travel across the Vizcaino Desert to your current hotel in Guerrero Negro. The area around Guerrero is part of the El Vizcaino Bioreserve and has been a nature reserve since 1993

12||Day: Guerrero – San Quintin – Tag kilometer: approx||405 km
Today you will continue your motorcycles on Highway 1 through the desert landscape of Valle de los Cirios||The landscape is characterized by a variety of plants, especially cacti and Cirio trees. After lunch in Catavina, we return to the Pacific coast and the hotel in San Quintin via winding roads.||A bonfire and cool drinks await you and your group on the beach

13. Day: San Quintin – Ensenada – Trip kilometer: approx. 210 km
They leave the beautiful surroundings of San Quintin and head back to the port city of Ensenada. Here you can expect delicious fish tacos, a pleasant climate and duty-free shopping. On your penultimate evening in Mexico, it is recommended to visit Hussong's Cantina, Baja's oldest bar.  

14. Day: Ensenada – Los Angeles – Trip kilometer: 363 km
The final leg of the adventure journey takes you back towards the USA via Highway 3, through the wineries of Valle de Guadalupe. Before returning to Los Angeles, drive along the famous Coast Highway 101, passing through San Diego's beautiful countryside. Before returning to the EagleRider station, a final stop is made for the lunch break.

15. Tag: Los Angeles – Tour end – Hasta Luego, amigos
Individual transfer to the airport or onward travel/extension.
