Welcome to Nevada –
The craziest Wild West

ab/bis Las Vegas

Day 1 – Arrival in Las Vegas
Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel independently. Depending on your arrival time, you'll have time to explore the "glitzy metropolis" with its numerous themed hotels and attractions. Overnight in Las Vegas.

Day 2 – Las Vegas
Today is a day for acclimatization and promises plenty of attractions—simply explore downtown with its numerous art walks or the Neon Museum. Overnight in Las Vegas.

Day 3 – Las Vegas – Ely (approx. 285 miles / 456 km)
In the morning, we'll pick up our motorcycles. After completing the formalities and a brief introduction, we'll begin the ride to Ely. A winding ride along scenic Routes 169 and 167 takes you past Lake Mead and Gold Butte National Monument. While you keep an eye out for wild horses, we'll cycle east to Valley of Fire State Park. We'll then continue along US Highway 93, first to Cathedral Gorge National Park, before reaching the old mining town of Pioche. In the evening, you can enjoy a relaxing end to the day at the Jailhouse Restaurant. Overnight in Ely.

Day 4 – Ely – Fallon (approx. 258 miles / 413 km)
Continuing on Highway 50 – the “Loneliest Road in America.” In July 1986, the American magazine Life named Highway 50 in Nevada the “Loneliest Road in America” and warned its readers not to drive it without the appropriate “survival skills.” Yes, we agree – roads can hardly be more expansive. But isn’t that precisely what makes it so appealing? Today, this legendary route is a starting point for ghost towns, historic mining communities, breathtaking state parks, countless outdoor activities, and authentic sagebrush saloons. Yes, this highway has a lot to offer. From ghost towns and national parks to hot springs – along your journey, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy beautiful and expansive views, meet friendly people in the villages and towns, and explore historically rich towns full of history and character! After a short photo stop at Grimes Point, a 6,000-year-old painted rock, you'll get closer to your destination - overnight stay in Fallon.

Day 5 – Fallon – Virginia City (approx. 80 miles / 128 km)
Today you'll begin your shortest leg of the journey. You'll have time to visit the Frey Farm in Fallon and its distillery (free tours and whiskey tastings are available on Saturdays) before driving to Carson City, the capital of Nevada. In the afternoon, you'll explore Virginia City – a historic western town that still maintains its original appearance. Overnight in Virginia City.

Day 6 – Virginia City – Reno (approx. 141 miles / 226 km)
Today, another highlight of the tour follows. Your journey takes you along one of the most popular recreational areas in the USA – Lake Tahoe. You'll circle three-quarters of the lake, which captivates with its emerald-green waters and impressive mountain scenery. The destination of today's tour is Reno. Reno was Nevada's most important gambling city until 1950, when it was overtaken by Las Vegas. In addition to countless casinos, the "biggest little town in the world" also features the National Automobile Museum. Overnight stay in Reno.

Tag 7 – Lake Tahoe

After your first encounter with the "Jewel of the Sierra Nevada" yesterday, today promises to be the perfect day to enjoy this summer paradise. Immerse yourself in Nevada's history, visit museums, old saloons, or simply relax by the lake.

Day 8 – Lake Tahoe – Tonopah (approx. 238 miles / 380 km)
You should start early again today, as this stage covers quite a few miles. For a quick coffee break, consider stopping at John Ascuaga's Nugget, a small coffee shop from the 1950s. Heading south on Highway 95, you'll automatically reach Hawthorne. A visit to the Ordnance Museum, a military museum, is recommended. Alternatively, Tonopah offers the Tonopah Mining Park, a mining museum. Spend the night in Tonopah.

Day 9– Tonopah – Pahrump (approx. 194 miles / 310 km)
I hope you had a literally starry sky last night in this great mining town after finding your way back from the local brewery/saloon. Your first stop after Goldfield is the International Car Forest, a junkyard with painted (and planted) vehicles that artists turn into sculptures. In town, you can admire Rocket Bob's automotive mosaics, as well as haunted historic buildings and sagebrush saloons. In Beatty, you turn towards Death Valley, stopping at many historic sites until you reach Badwater, the lowest point in normal America. Just beyond Death Valley, you reach Pahrump, where you can round off the evening with a wine tasting. Spend the night in Pahrump.

Day 10 – Pahrump – Laughlin (approx. 196 miles / 313 km)
We'll head south, heading directly toward the Mojave Desert, before turning left and heading straight to Laughlin, where the party continues at the resorts on the Colorado River. Enjoy a dinner cruise in the evening before heading to one of the numerous casinos for a nightcap. Overnight: Laughlin.

Day 11– Laughlin (approx. 80 miles / 48 km)
You can start this day relaxed—it's a nearly 80-mile day trip. Just 18 miles will take you to the charming gold rush town of Oatman, with its famous donkeys and historic Route 66. Via Sitgreaves Pass, you'll find many Route 66 landmarks in Kingman. Stop for lunch at Mr. Dz's, the town's iconic diner. Returning to Highway 68 will quickly bring you back to Laughlin.

Day 12 – Laughlin – Las Vegas (approx. 196 miles / 313 km)
On the last day through the Silver State, we return to the glittering metropolis of Las Vegas. But first, we'll stop in the ghost town of Nelson, where you can visit the Techatticup Mine. This film set has been used in many movies. Without the Hoover Dam, there would be no Las Vegas. Visit this modern marvel and test out your camera's panorama mode from the 270-meter-high and 580-meter-long observation bridge – the longest of its kind in North America. Explore Boulder City, the quiet, Art Deco-style town with fascinating museums, quaint shops, outdoor activities, and delicious restaurants. Then it's back to the vibrant gambling metropolis, where you'll spend your last evening in one of the themed or downtown hotels.
