Self-guided tour – 14 days
In 14 days, you will explore beaches, national parks and metropolises and enjoy the hospitality and cuisine of the southern states. Highlights: Southern metropolis Atlanta – Beach experience in South Carolina – Great Smoky Mountains National Park
Day 1: Welcome to Atlanta
After your arrival in Atlanta, you will travel to your hotel on your own. Use the rest of the day to get a first impression of the southern metropolis with its historic districts, lush parks and excellent restaurants. Overnight in Atlanta
Day 2: Atlanta – Macon – approx. 200 km
From 9:00 a.m. your bikes will be available at the station. After a short briefing , you can get to know the former Olympic city better. The Centennial Olympic Park is home to well-known attractions such as the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola or the CNN Center. You'll then follow part of the Antebellum Trail to posh Macon, the heart of Georgia. You can make a stop in Madison, one of the most beautiful small towns in the USA. Overnight in Macon
Day 3: Macon – St. Simons Island – approx. 320 km
Today you will reach the coast of Georgia. Lonely beaches, lighthouses and excellent seaside resorts characterize this region. Your destination for the day is St. Simons Island, the largest of the Golden Isles with 29 km². With its miles of beaches, the island invites you to swim, walk, kayak, stand-up paddle boarding or sail. In the evening, try the sweet Georgia shrimp at one of the restaurants. Day 4: St. Simons Island – Savannah – approx. 135 km
Today you will cross marshland on your way to Savannah. Keep an eye out for the wild horses that call it home. Historic Savannah was founded in 1773 and impresses with its magnificent historic homes, green parks, cobblestone streets and old churches. The most famous square in the city is Chippewa Square, known from the movie Forrest Gump.

Day 5: Savannah – Charleston – approx. 175 km
You will arrive in South Carolina today. With over 300 km of sunny beaches, world-class cuisine and a variety of entertainment options, the state is the perfect holiday destination. On your way to Charleston, make a stop at Hilton Head Island. The second largest island on the US East Coast is a true nature and bathing paradise. The red and white lighthouse of the island rewards you with a magnificent view. Overnight stay in Charleston 2 nights
Day 6: Charleston
Discover Charleston, the "Pearl of the South" today. Founded in 1670, the port city will enchant you with the charm and elegance of the Old South. In the restored old town you will find over 900 listed buildings, cobblestones, winding alleys and magnificent mansions in the shade of mossy oaks. You can also visit the Historic District, where you'll find buildings from before the Revolution, as well as Victorian and colonial buildings.
Day 7: Charleston – Myrtle Beach – approx. 155 km
In the morning, tour the famous Boone Plantation. The former cotton plantation from 1681 was often used as a film set, e.g. for the series Torches in the Storm. The picturesque "Avenue of Oaks" is lined with oaks that are over 250 years old, from which "Spanish Moss" blows like angel hair. On "Slave Street" you will get an insight into the daily life of slaves and the challenges associated with it. In the afternoon you will reach the coastal town of Myrtle Beach. A ride on the Ferris wheel, which stands on the 2 km long beach promenade, is a must for every visitor. Overnight in Myrtle Beach
Day 8: Myrtle Beach – Raleigh – approx. 295 km
Today you will leave the coastal region and reach Raleigh, the capital of North Carolina. With 14 national parks and around 40 state parks, the state is one of the most popular regions in the USA for outdoor enthusiasts. Raleigh offers a variety of first-class museums and historical sites, some of which are free of charge. Also worth seeing are the historic Oakwood district with its Victorian houses and the State Capitol. Overnight in Raleigh
Day 9: Raleigh – Charlotte – approx. 270 km
On your day's stage, you will cross North Carolina's Piedmont, characterized by gentle mountains, wine-growing areas and golf courses. Charlotte, the "Queen City" offers several attractions, such as the Discovery Place museum. Outdoor enthusiasts should visit the U.S. National Whitewater Center, the official Olympic training facility with ziplining, climbing rocks, rafting river and more. Overnight in Charlotte
Day 10: Charlotte – Asheville – approx. 205 km
Your destination for the day is the mountainous region of North Carolina. Asheville has a vibrant arts and music scene, craft breweries, and excellent restaurants. Visit the nearby Biltmore Estates, winery and former summer residence of the Vanderbilt family. Overnight stay in Asheville, 2 nights
Day 11: Asheville
Enjoy the day in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Numerous outdoor adventures await you here. In the Pisgah National Forest, northeast of Asheville, is Mount Mitchell, at 2,037 m the highest mountain in the USA east of the Rocky Mountains.
Day 12: Asheville – Greenville – approx. 105 km
Today you will meet South Carolina again. Greenville nestles against the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The up-and-coming city is widely known for its downtown design district with shopping, art and festivals. Stop at Caesars Head State Park along the way. From the Blue Ridge cliff you can enjoy an impressive view of the surrounding mountains. Overnight in Greenville
Day 13: Greenville – Atlanta – approx. 235 km
The last stage takes you back to Georgia to the metropolis of Atlanta. Overnight in Atlanta
Day 14: End of the round trip
Today, the motorcycles are returned and then driven to the airport on their own or individually extended.

- for the models E-Glide, Street Glide and Road Glide there is a surcharge of approx. 15-20 EUR per rental day

- A class 1 or A driving license is required.
- We recommend that you bring an International Driving Permit. However, this is only valid in conjunction with your national driving license.
- You will need a major credit card to pay the deposit.
