Self-guided Tour 15 Days

On this self-guided tour, traverse the natural wonders of Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion NP, and Yosemite NP. Enjoy the absolute highlights of the West, Route 66, and Highway No. 1. Experience glittering and dazzling cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas – all these impressions are gathered on a motorcycle from the iconic Harley Davidson® brand.

1. Day – Arrival Las Vegas
Welcome to Las Vegas! After your arrival at the airport, you will drive yourself towards the Strip. Start your first foray into the casinos and let yourself be enchanted by the glittering world of Las Vegas.

2. Tag – Las Vegas – Death Valley (approx. 224 km/139 miles)
After your first night on American soil, you'll set off in the morning to take your bikes. After that, your first trip will start heading north, along the Lake Mead Reservoir, towards Overton Beach. Drive west through the Valley of Fire, Nevada's oldest and largest state park, to Red Rock Canyon. Then it's via Highway 160 through Parhump and Amargosa Valley to your hotel in „Valley of Death“.

3. Tag – Death Valley – Mammoth Lakes (approx. 328 km/203 miles)
Today you are leaving the driest national park in the USA. From there it continues to Mammoth Lakes with its hot springs. Here you can swim in the bubbling hot volcanic springs after the day's stage, enjoy nature and relax. Or you can visit the Devils Postpile Monument, a unique geological natural wonder of the USA, located about 15 miles away.

4. Day – Mammoth Lakes – Yosemite NP (approx. 110 km/68 miles)
Continue your journey to one of the most popular national parks in the USA. The park, with its beauty and diversity, offers you magnificent views of the Sierra, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and the Valley. Another attraction is a circular route to the forest of the Giant Sequoias, the ancient giant trees. After an eventful day, overnight stay in or near the park.

5. Day – Yosemite NP – San Francisco (approx. 307 km/190 miles)
The journey takes you through former gold rush country to San Francisco. The world-famous, fascinating Californian metropolis is waiting to be discovered! Here you can spend two days and enjoy the time in one of the most beautiful cities in America.

6. Day – Experience San Francisco
Visit the harbor area „Fisherman's Wharf“ with Pier 39 or Alcatraz Island in the bay, the former high security prison.  A great experience is a tour with one of the cable cars. Drive across the famous Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito, the Italian part of the city, where you can enjoy excellent meals right by the water in nice restaurants. The city has a lot to offer: Chinatown, numerous restaurants, bars, shops and shopping malls never cause boredom.

7. Day – San Francisco – Monterey/Carmel – Pismo Beach (approx. 384 km/238 miles)
The famous coastal road – Highway No. 1– leads via Monterrey to Pismo Beach. Visit ‚Cannery Row‘ and Fisherman's Wharf in Monterrey and enjoy the views of the rugged coastline from the 17-mile drive. At San Simeon you have the opportunity to take a detour to Hearst Castle, a castle where Hollywood stars and starlets regularly held parties in the 1920s and 30s.

8. Day – Pismo Beach – Los Angeles (approx. 304 km/188 miles)
Today the journey continues via Ventura towards Los Angeles. In Santa Barbara, it's worth stopping for a walk or shopping trip. Explore Los Angeles with its highlights such as Sunset Boulevard, the Walk of Fame in the Hollywood district, or Beverly Hills.

9. Day – Los Angeles – Palm Springs (approx. 176 km/109 miles)
You start your stage today towards San Juan Capistrano via Highway 74, which runs through the Cleveland National Forest, a wonderfully winding biker route. Palm Springs, a day destination in the middle of the desert, is an exceptional city as a holiday destination for many stars with exclusive restaurants and shops. Palm Springs is experiencing a veritable 1950s architectural revival. In the evening you can stroll along Palm Canyon Drive and experience an almost European-looking flâneur scene. Those who wish can take the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway for a 14-minute ride to the mountain station of Mount Jacinto (2840 m), from which you have a fantastic panoramic view of the Coachela Valley.

10. Day – Palm Springs – Kingman (approx. 395 km/245 miles)
You can reach Kingman via Twentynine Palms and Lake Havasu City. During the old ‚high times’ of Route 66, Kingman was an important transportation hub, and the town still plays this role today thanks to Interstate. At the Mr. D'z Diner restaurant, you are transported back several decades. With its cinematic decor and rock 'n' roll, you can really enjoy the burgers here. The Route 66 Museum is located opposite. It's worth a visit there, also for a souvenir from Route 66.

11. Tag – Kingman – Flagstaff (approx. 240 km/149 miles)
The legendary Route 66 towards the Grand Canyon will take you to Seligman. The town is traversed by the „Main Street of America“, as Route 66 is also known. Today in Seligman you feel like you're traveling back in time – nostalgic, a bit kitschy and very endearing. Decorations and figures from the good old days can be found everywhere… Freedom, adventure and rock 'n' roll abound! The journey continues through wooded roads with a touch of Alpine charm, past Williams, a place with many historic, protected buildings, to Flagstaff. In the evening, one can end one of Arizona's approximately 300 sunny days here with a cool drink.

12||Day – Flagstaff – Grand Canyon NP – Page ( approx||344 km/213 miles)
Continue from the largest city in northern Arizona to another gigantic natural wonder: the Grand Canyon||The unique rock formations created by the Colorado River captivate visitors every year.  A sightseeing flight by helicopter or airplane (bookable above us) over the Grand Canyon will be an unforgettable experience! Opportunity to visit the IMAX Theatre in Tusayan and Grand Canyon Visitor Center||Drive along the ‚Rim‘ with several viewpoints on to Page.

13. Tag – Page – Bryce Canyon NP (approx. 248 km/154 miles)
After a detour to Lake Powell and a visit to Antelope Canyon, you will head off on your day's stage today. Bryce Canyon National Park can be reached via the old trading post of Kanab. Discover this unusual and fascinating natural monument here on one of the numerous hiking trails through the bizarre rock formations.

14. Day – Bryce Canyon NP – Zion NP – Las Vegas (approx. 397 km/246 miles)
After a spectacular sunrise at Sunrise Point, you drive through the Dixie National Forest to Zion National Park. The striking sandstone structures and gorges with great views and numerous hiking trails invite you to explore the park. Onward trip to the exciting metropolis of Las Vegas. 24 hours of gambling with the best shows await you! Alternatively, you can take a trip to the world's biggest Harley dealer. A new attraction here is the ‚Dinner in the Sky‘ (bookable about us!)

15. Day – Las Vegas – Return flight to Germany
It's time to say goodbye and leave the glittering metropolis behind. Drop-off of bikes and trip to the airport independently! Until next time…
