Utah, Yellowstone & Deadwood

Guided motorcycle tour - 14 days/13 nights

Utah, Yellowstone & Deadwood

EagleRider has built a true masterpiece with this tour. DJ and April – two of our most experienced guides – originally designed them for a private group. Now this adventure is finally available for you too. 14 days on the road, on some of the best motorcycle routes in North America. Moab, Yellowstone, Deadwood, Beartooth Pass, Black Hills – every day is a new chapter in the road movie of your life.

Day 1 – Arrival in Salt Lake City

Welcome to Utah! Even on your approach to landing, you'll see the mountain ranges that frame Salt Lake City. Here, we begin our adventure with a welcome dinner where you'll meet your guides and fellow travelers. Expect some car talk, a few jokes, and maybe even some insider tips for the next two weeks. Your hotel, Little America, is centrally located – stylish, comfortable, and the perfect starting point. Overnight in Salt Lake City.

Day 2 – Salt Lake City – Vernal (approx. 330 km)

Today it's time to put on your helmet, start the engine, and head out for an adventure. We'll cruise along Highway 128, following the Colorado River – one of the most beautiful scenic drives anywhere. Red sandstone cliffs rise up on either side, a sight that will leave you speechless. At midday, we'll make a detour to Dinosaur, a place that truly lives up to its name. In the Fossil Quarry, you'll discover 1,500 genuine Jurassic-era dinosaur bones. A piece of Earth's history, right before your eyes. The day ends in Vernal – a small town that already hints at a Western atmosphere.

Day 3 – Vernal – Jackson (approx. 455 km)

A day of driving that has it all: deep canyons, vast landscapes, and one of the best-kept secrets – Flaming Gorge. Here, the Colorado River has carved a massive gorge into the rock, and the vibrant red cliffs contrasting with the turquoise water make for an unforgettable sight. Afterward, it's on to the Grand Teton Mountains – a scene straight out of a movie. Jackson itself is a blend of cowboy charm and modern luxury villas. Here you'll encounter real cowboys, as well as the rich and famous who love the wilderness. In the evenings, bars with live music and cold beer await.

Day 4 – Jackson – Yellowstone (approx. 200 km)

A shorter day, but packed with natural wonders. We drive through Grand Teton National Park: lush meadows, crystal-clear lakes, and majestic mountains with snow-capped peaks. Then we set foot on hallowed ground: Yellowstone – the first national park in the USA. Here you'll immediately understand why this place is legendary. Overnight stay in West Yellowstone – two nights, so you can truly experience the area.

Day 5 – Yellowstone Free Day

Today you have a choice: join the group to see the highlights or explore on your own. Old Faithful, the famous geyser, shoots its fountain into the sky. Colorful thermal springs steam and bubble. Everywhere you smell sulfur, hear bubbling and crackling sounds – a landscape in constant motion. Add to that bison, elk, and with luck, even bears. Yellowstone is an experience for all the senses – here you feel the raw power of nature.

Day 6 – Yellowstone – Billings (approx. 370 km)

We bid farewell to Yellowstone and roll through pristine valleys and alongside mighty rivers. Places like Big Sky, where skiers rock out in winter, or Livingston, an old railroad hub, will show you different facets of Montana. Logging towns, ranches, nature as far as the eye can see. Our destination is Billings, a town that has retained its Wild West character. A day that will leave you relaxed yet brimming with impressions.

Day 7 – Billings – Deadwood (approx. 465 km)

A long day in the saddle, but it's worth it to head right into the heart of the Wild West. Deadwood, the legendary gold rush town, will be your home base for the next few days. The landscape along the way is vast, open, and authentic – true frontier country. Deadwood itself is like a living museum: old saloons, casinos, pure Western atmosphere. We'll spend four nights here – with plenty of time for excursions in the surrounding area.

Day 8 – Deadwood / Mount Rushmore & Crazy Horse (approx. 205 km)

Today, history is carved in stone. Mount Rushmore – the four presidential heads in the Black Hills – is familiar to everyone from films and photos, but seeing them live is simply breathtaking. Then there's Crazy Horse, the still-unfinished but gigantic Native American monument. On the roads, you realize: bikers are at home here. Whether alone or in a group – the Black Hills will leave a lasting impression.

Day 9 – Deadwood / Sturgis & Spearfish Canyon (approx. 80 km)

A relaxed day of riding, but packed with experiences: Spearfish Canyon is one of the most beautiful motorcycle routes anywhere – tight curves, waterfalls, and nature up close. Afterwards, Sturgis – the small town that is overrun by hundreds of thousands of bikers from all over the world every August. Today it's quieter, but the spirit is still there. This is the heart of the American biker scene.

Day 10 – Deadwood / Badlands (approx. 320 km)

Today's excursion takes us to the Badlands – a landscape that looks like it's from another planet. Jagged rocks, endless canyons, bizarre formations. The 160 km long "Wall" is a natural monument that will leave you speechless. A day where the camera will be working overtime and the soul will expand.

Day 11 – Deadwood – Cheyenne (approx. 440 km)

A long but magnificent ride. The destination is Cheyenne, the quintessential cowboy town. Rodeo, country songs, boots and spurs – the Western lives on here. You might even witness a live rodeo. Cheyenne is a worthy place for the last big night of the tour.

Day 12 – Cheyenne – Denver (approx. 320 km)

Last day of riding, but with a real highlight: We're not taking the shortcut, but cruising through Rocky Mountain National Park. Over 3,350 meters, panoramic views, wildlife, a road that will take your breath away. Afterwards, we roll into the "Mile High City" of Denver, return the bikes, and celebrate with a farewell dinner. Stories, laughter, looking back on 14 days full of adventure.

Day 13 – Denver Departure

Today it's time to say goodbye – or you can extend your stay and remain in Colorado. But one thing is clear: this tour will stay in your heart forever.

This is luxury on two wheels – epic roads, nature, history, biker culture. A premium road trip that you only experience once in a lifetime.
