A round trip through California, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, and Nevada, featuring all the national park highlights the Western USA has to offer. You'll experience magnificent sights and Route 66, connected to fascinating cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas.

1. Day – Arrival Los Angeles
Welcome to LA! After your arrival in the Californian metropolis, the transfer to the hotel will be done independently. Enjoy the first evening before you rent your motorcycles tomorrow and start your first tours. Overnight stay in Los Angeles

2. Day – Los Angeles
Today you can pick up your bikes from 9:00 AM. After completing the formalities and a brief introduction, the motorcycles will be taken over. Now you can get to know LA with your bike. Overnight stay in Los Angeles.

3. Day – Los Angeles – Palm Springs (approx. 176 km/109 miles)
Today's stage leads towards San Juan Capistrano via Highway 74. The route leads through the Cleveland National Forest, a wonderfully winding biker trail. Palm Springs, a daytime destination in the middle of the desert, is known as a holiday destination for many stars and offers exclusive restaurants and shops. In Palm Springs you will experience a veritable 1950s architectural revival. In the evening you can stroll along Palm Canyon Drive and experience an almost European-looking flâneur scene. Those who wish can take the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway for a 14-minute ride to the mountain station of Mount Jacinto (2840 m). From this vantage point you have a fantastic panoramic view of the Coachela Valley. Overnight stay in or around Palm Springs.

4. Day – Palm Springs – Palm Desert – Phoenix/Scottsdale (approx. 448 km/278 miles)
Continue past the Coachella Valley to Blythe and the Colorado River, which forms the state border between California and Arizona. In Arizona you can admire the giant saguaro cacti for the first time. It goes via Valley of the Sun to Scottsdale.
Overnight stay in or around Phoenix/Scottsdale.

5. Day – Phoenix/Scottsdale – Grand Canyon National Park (approx. 360 km/223 miles)
On the Black Canyon Highway you leave the desert and drive up to Montezuma's Castle, a historic, very well-preserved rock dwelling of the Indians dating back to the 12th century. Continue to Sedona, known for its impressive red rock surroundings. Passing Oak Creek Canyon, the route continues via Flagstaff to the impressive Grand Canyon.

6. Day – Grand Canyon NP. – Page/Lake Powell (approx. 229 km/142 miles)
Early risers can experience the magnificent spectacle of a sunrise over the Grand Canyon. Or use the morning for an unforgettable helicopter trip over the canyon. Heading east, you will reach the beautiful Lake Powell, which offers a wide range of water sports opportunities. We recommend a boat trip to Rainbow Bridge, which can only be viewed from the water or from the air. Overnight stay in or near Page.

7. Tag – Page/Lake Powell – Monument Valley (approx. 195 km/121 miles)
Continue through Monument Valley with its fantastic red sandstone rock formations, which have often served as the backdrop in famous films. Overnight stay in Kayenta or Monument Valley (for an extra charge).

8. Tag – Monument Valley – Mesa Verde National Park (approx. 227 km/141 miles)
Today the journey continues to Mesa Verde National Park. Early Spanish explorers called Mesa Verde, the green table mountain, the over 2000 m high, coniferous forest-covered table mountain in the far southwest of Colorado, on which the national park of the same name is located. Here you can experience the culture and history of the Navajo Indians.
Overnight stay in or around Mesa Verde.

9. Day – Mesa Verde National Park – Canyonlands National Park – Moab (approx. 248 km/154 miles)
Your destination today is Moab. Along the way, you'll drive through Canyonlands National Park with its deep, steep-sided river valleys and other impressive rock formations. Overnight stay in or near Moab.

10. Day – Day trip Arches National Park (approx. 29 km/18 miles)
A whole day to explore Arches National Park, with arguably the most famous rock formation – Delicate Arch. From Moab you can book various optional excursions: off-road vehicle tours, sightseeing flights, whitewater rafting or guided hikes. We are happy to assist with bookings. Overnight stay in or near Moab.

11. Tag – Moab – Capitol Reef National Park – Bryce Canyon National Park (approx. 456 km/283 miles)
Today you will drive through the Moab Valley to Capitol Reef National Park and on to Bryce Canyon National Park. Discover this unusual and fascinating natural monument here on one of the numerous hiking trails through the bizarre rock formations.
Overnight stay near or around Bryce Canyon.

12. Day – Bryce Canyon NP – Zion NP – Las Vegas (approx. 397 km/246 miles)
After a spectacular sunrise at Sunrise Point, you drive through the Dixie National Forest to Zion National Park. The striking sandstone structures, gorges with great views, and numerous hiking trails invite you to explore the park. Onward trip to the exciting metropolis of Las Vegas. 24 hours of gambling with the best shows await you! Or take a trip to the world's biggest Harley dealer. A new attraction here is the ‚Dinner in the Sky‘ (bookable about us!).

13. Day – Las Vegas
A day at the player's leisure in a player's paradise. Use it for shopping and relaxation before exploring the glitter and glamour world of the mega-resorts on Las Vegas Boulevard, also known as the Strip, in the evening. Overnight stay in Las Vegas.

14. Tag – Las Vegas – Death Valley (approx. 224 km/139 miles)
Today you will start heading north along the Lake Mead Reservoir, which will lead you towards Overton Beach. Drive west through the Valley of Fire, Nevada's oldest and largest state park, to Red Rock Canyon. Then it's via Highway 160 through Parhump and Amargosa Valley to your hotel in „Valley of Death“. Overnight stay in or around Death Valley.

15. Tag – Death Valley National Park – Sequoia National Park (approx. 376 km/233 miles)
Today you will travel through the Mojave Desert, via Bakersfield to Visalia, the gateway to Sequoia National Park with its eponymous giant sequoia trees.  Sequoia National Park protects the last large stand of giant sequoias, a gigantic tree species found only on the western side of the Sierra Nevada. Overnight stay in or around Visalia.

16. Day – Sequoia NP – Yosemite NP (approx. 232 km/144 miles)
Continue your journey to one of the most popular national parks in the USA. The park, with its beauty and diversity, offers you: magnificent views of the Sierra, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and the Valley. Another attraction is a circular route to the forest of the Giant Sequoias, the ancient giant trees. After an eventful day, overnight stay in or near the park.

17. Tag – Yosemite NP– San Francisco (approx. 307 km/190 miles)
The journey takes you through former gold rush country to San Francisco. The world-famous, fascinating Californian metropolis is waiting to be discovered! Here you can spend two days and enjoy the time in one of the most beautiful cities in America. Overnight stay in San Francisco.

18. Day – Experience San Francisco
Visit the harbor area „Fisherman's Wharf“ with Pier 39 or Alcatraz Island in the bay, the former high security prison.  A great experience is a tour with one of the cable cars. Take your bike across the famous Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito, the Italian part of the city. Here you can eat wonderfully in nice restaurants right by the water. The city has a lot to offer: Chinatown, numerous restaurants, bars, shops and shopping malls never cause boredom. Overnight stay in San Francisco.

19. Day – San Francisco – Monterey/Carmel – Pismo Beach (approx. 384 km/238 miles)
The famous coastal road – Highway No. 1– leads via Monterrey to Pismo Beach. Visit ‚Cannery Row‘ and Fisherman's Wharf in Monterrey and enjoy the views of the rugged coastline from the 17-mile drive. At San Simeon you have the opportunity to take a detour to Hearst Castle, a castle where Hollywood stars and starlets regularly held parties in the 1920s and 30s. Overnight stay in or around Pismo Beach.

20||Day – Pismo Beach – Los Angeles (approx.||304 km/288 miles)
Today the journey continues via Ventura towards Los Angeles||In Santa Barbara, it's worth stopping for a walk or shopping trip. Explore Los Angeles with its highlights such as Sunset Boulevard, the Walk of Fame in the Hollywood neighborhood, or Beverly Hills||Overnight stay in Los Angeles

21. Day – Los Angeles
Enjoy your last day of biking and take a trip to Hollywood, Bel Air, or visit the famous Rodeo Drive. The wonderful beaches also offer plenty of variety. The quirky Venice Beach is full of life, while the tranquil Santa Monica is rather quiet. Overnight stay in Los Angeles.

22. Day – End of the tour
It's time to say goodbye and leave the City of Angels behind. Drop-off of bikes and trip to the airport independently! Until next time…

Notes:

  • The above prices are valid for the travel months of July and November to April (30.04.)
  • For the E-Glide, Street Glide and Road Glide models, there is a surcharge of approximately 8.00-10.00 EUR per rental day
  • Minimum age: 21 years
  • A class 1 or A driving license is required.
  • We recommend that you bring an International Driving Permit. However, this is only valid in conjunction with your national driving license.
  • You will need a major credit card to pay the deposit.
  • The following Harley types are available on request: Road Glide, Street Glide, Street Glide Grand Touring, Heritage Softail, Street Bob
