Eastern Route 66
EagleRider's world-famous Route 66 motorcycle tour takes you along the legendary Route 66, known as the "Main Street of America" or "Mother Road." It stretches 2,250 kilometers from Chicago to Albuquerque, passing through two time zones and five states: Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and finally ending in New Mexico. Route 66 was once the path for migrants, dreamers, desperados, and a whole generation of travelers exploring the West. In the 1950s, Route 66 experienced its glory days when thousands of cars drove bumper to bumper to experience the Western frontier. Hotels, motels, gas stations, classic restaurants, and the "new" America sprang up everywhere. Many of these classic roads, restaurants, gas stations, and nostalgic landmarks are still preserved today as they were in the 1950s. The famous and nostalgic Route 66 is the perfect road for motorcycle touring. In short, this is the guided tour of America!

Day 1 : Chicago
You'll travel to Chicago independently and make your own way to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the beautiful "Windy City" on Lake Michigan. Visit the Adler Planetarium or the Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District in Oak Park, stroll through the city center, or enjoy the spectacular view from the city's tallest building, the Skydeck (optional). In the evening, a welcome dinner is scheduled. You'll stay at the Palmer House Hilton Chicago (upper mid-range).

Day 2: Chicago – Springfield
In the morning, you'll be transferred to the Eagle Rider Station, where you'll pick up your motorcycle and embark on the ultimate road trip along the legendary Route 66. The route leads south along the Pontiac Trail through Juliet, with an optional stop at the Route 66 Museum. Overnight in Springfield. Approximately 299 km

Day 3: Springfield – St. Louis
Today, you'll cross the state line into Missouri and drive toward St. Louis on the Mississippi River, where the Gateway Arch, the "Gateway to the West," welcomes you. Along the way, you'll experience rural America, passing through cornfields and small towns. Overnight in St. Louis. Approx. 186 km

Day 4: St. Louis – Joplin
The drive to Joplin takes you through the Devil's Elbow, one of the most beautiful stretches of Route 66. Missouri's landscape is very diverse. Along the way, you'll meet Route 66 icon Gary at Gay Parita's. Overnight in Joplin. Approx. 536 km

Day 5: Joplin – Oklahoma City
Today, we continue west over rolling hills. The tour takes you to the state of Oklahoma, which joined the Union as the 46th state in 1907. The state's close connection to Native American history is palpable everywhere. Overnight in Oklahoma City. Approx. 408 km

Day 6: Oklahoma City – Amarillo
In the morning, you'll begin your journey to Texas. Along the Chisholm Trail, you'll drive through Yukon and El Reno, stopping at the Route 66 Museum in Clinton. In Amarillo, your destination for today, you can visit the "Big Texan Steakhouse" – they supposedly have the best steaks in the entire state! Overnight in Amarillo. Approx. 426 km

Day 7: Amarillo – Santa Fe
The journey continues to the "Land of Enchantment," New Mexico. After passing the world-famous Cadillac Ranch, you'll stop in Adrian, Texas. Traveling through Comanche Country and the High Plains, you'll reach beautiful Santa Fe. This city, with its Spanish and Native American influences, offers a unique atmosphere. 2 nights in Santa Fe. Approx. 485 km

Day 8: Santa Fe – Albuquerque
All good things must come to an end, and your exciting journey concludes this morning with the return of the motorcycles in Albuquerque. We're sure you enjoyed your tour. Let us know when you're ready for your next great motorcycle adventure! As you've seen, EagleRider makes dream trips come true.

*** In the event of theft/tire damage, the deductible is a maximum of US$2,000 to US$5,000 and must be paid by the customer in the event of damage. Following the tour, the claim will be submitted, and the deductible will be reimbursed after verification by our German reinsurer.
