Day 1 – Flight to Denver
Day 01 – Fly to Denver. The start into the wild, Wild West & Rocky Mountains
Flight with a renowned scheduled airline from your chosen departure point to Denver (connecting flights possible). Upon arrival in Denver, you will be expected by your guide and taken to a well-located mid-range hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in the Denver/Aurora area.

Day 02 – Denver – Mile High City – Gateway to the Rockies 110 km
Today you will have the morning at your leisure. In the morning, the tour meeting takes place at the hotel. After the lunch break, you will load all the luggage you need for the tour into the support vehicle. The motorcycles are then taken over by the local rental partner.
The short stage takes you close to the entrance to the majestic Rocky Mountains National Park. Overnight stay in the Estes Park area

Day 03 – Rocky Mountain National Park 440 km
You now start directly with your adventure Rocky Mountains. Curves galore is already the order of the day this morning on the way through the southern Rockies. You cross the Rocky Mountain National Park, with the highest passable pass in the USA - over 4000 meters of altitude are announced here. The air becomes thin and even the way to urinate becomes a sporting adventure. The curves line up like pearl necklaces, via Kremmling and Blue River, it goes further south along the Arkansas River. The overnight stay is in Gunnison today.

Day 04 – Black Canyon of Gunnison National Park – Ouray – Million Dollar Highway – Silverton – Durango 315 km
Along the Gunnison River, you will cross the Curecanti Nature Park in the morning before taking a side detour to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. The Devils Lookout and the High Point are the top photo stops here. From Ouray you make your way through the Switzerland of America to Silverton. Here you will pass the next three passes, up to over 3300 m high, and then follow the old railway line to the historic western town of Durango, where you will spend the next two nights.

Day 05 – Silverton & Durango Railroad
Today is at your leisure. If you are interested, you can take a tour on the historic Silverton and Durango Steam Railway. The drive, which lasts several hours, takes you through the narrow canyons of the Rockies to the small gold mining town of Silverton, which you already know from the day before. This is where Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid wreaked havoc and made their famous cash withdrawals with drawn revolvers in the bank there. After the lunch break, you can choose to take the bus or train back to Durango. Overnight in Durango.

Day 06 – Mes Verde National Park – Telluride 470 km
The Mesa Verde National Park is known for its gigantic 1000-year-old rock dwellings of the extinct Anazazi Indians – a visit there is certainly one of the highlights of this tour. In the afternoon, you will follow the west side of the main ridge of the Rockies to the well-known ski resort of Telluride. From here you follow the unique panoramic road, with Ridgeway State Park on the way being a good place to stop. You follow the Gunnison River again and reach Grand Junction in the early evening. Overnight in the Grand Junction/Fruita area.

Day 07 – Dinosaur National Park – Flaming Gorge – Wyoming 440 km
Through picturesque Wyoming, one of the largest states in the USA, we first go to Jackson Hole in the morning. After a stop, you will reach Pinedale and the Mounatin Man Museum at lunchtime, from there you will walk along the Big Sandy reservoir. In the evening you will reach your hotel in the Rock Springs area.

Day 08 – Wyoming – Wind River – Grand Teton 300 km
Through picturesque Wyoming, one of the largest states in the USA, we continue northwards. Through the Wind River valley, which is also an Indian reservation of the same name, you will reach the small town of Lander for lunch. There is a small interesting settler museum and afterwards you have the opportunity to visit the Wind River Wild Horse Reserve. In the afternoon, the tour takes you along Highway 26, from where you can see the Grand Teton National Park with its majestic mountains from afar. The overnight stay today is in the Dubois area.

Day 09 – Grand Teton – Yellowstone National Park – Cody 410 km
Today you will reach Grand Teton National Park early, from where you will continue directly to Yellowstone National Park. There, the world-famous Old Faithful Geyser is the first on the program, before it goes over the Firehole Canyon Road and past many other attractions to the west and east parts of the park. With a bit of luck you will get to see one of the native buffalo herds. In the late afternoon, you will cross Buffalo Bill State Park and reach the old western town of Cody. How about a real rodeo tonight? The overnight stay today is in Buffalo Bill's hometown, Cody.

Day 10 – Chief Joseph & beartooth Highway – Red Lodge – Big Horn Canyon 460 km
In the morning you will stop at the Hotel Irma, which Bill built for his daughter. Now it's time to go high again. You follow the Chief Joseph Scenic Highway and then the Beartooth Highway, known in the USA as the dream road par excellence and over 3300 m high. In the tranquil town of Red Lodge you will take your lunch break. More scenic roads then take you down to Bighorn Canyon State Park and on to Sheridan, where you will spend the night.

Day 11 – Cantral Plaines – Devils Tower – Sturgis – Black Hills 430 km
Today's stage takes you through the central plains of Wyoming to South Dakota. This easy-to-ride connecting stage takes you to Wyoming's landmark, the Devils Tower National Monument. There are many stories about this granite rock, in the middle of the wide country. In the afternoon you will reach the Main Street of Sturgis, where the largest motorcycle meeting in the world takes place every year, with up to 1 million visitors. You have the opportunity to visit the motorcycle museum there before continuing into the Black Hills. You will spend the night near the famous Mt. Rushmore in the Keystone area.

Day 12 – Black Hills – Mt. Rushmore – Crazy Horse – Custer Stae Park – Windcave National Park 380 km
The next highlights are not long in coming on this tour. Today you will visit the Mt. Rushmore Monument, with its 4 presidential heads, and also the much larger Crazy Horse Monument. The route takes you along the Needles Highway through Custer State Park, which is also known for its wild buffalo herds. On the way south is the Windcave National Park and you will reach your overnight stay in Lusk in the late afternoon.

Day 13 – Indian Prairie – Denver 380 km
Unfortunately, today is the last day of the tour on the program. You leave Wyoming and reach the state of Colorado again. Via Cheyenne you will arrive back in the Mile High City Denver in the early afternoon and return the bikes to the local rental partner. You can spend the evening with a cozy dinner and end this fantastic tour. Overnight in the Denver/Aurora area.

Day 14 – Flight home to Europe
In the course of the morning, the shuttle to Denver Airport and the flight home with a renowned scheduled airline (connecting flights possible) will take place back to the starting point of your Wild West motorcycle tour.

Day 15 – Arrival in Europe
Arrival at your departure point in the morning. End of the Wild West USA trip.

  • If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the trip up to three weeks before the start of the trip.
