14 Takes
Day 1 – Flight to Calgary
Flight with a reputable scheduled airline from your chosen departure airport to Calgary (connecting flights possible). Upon arrival at the airport, a shuttle transfer will take you to a centrally located mid-range hotel near the airport and the rental station. The rest of the evening is at your leisure. Day 02 – Calgary City Tour – bike pickup
What would this prairie city have become if it weren't located just 80 km from the best ski resorts in the Canadian Rockies? The days when the city earned its money from the cattle trade are long gone. Nearby tourism and oil are now Calgary's main sources of income. Once a year, the Calgary Stampede, the ultimate rodeo world championship for cowboys and cowgirls, takes place here. This morning, you have the opportunity to explore Calgary. There is the option to book an optional tour that includes the Gasoline Alley Museum and the Calgary Tower. In the afternoon, you will have a tour briefing and transfer to the rental station, where you will pick up your bikes. After a brief briefing, you will return to the hotel and enjoy dinner together.
Overnight stay in Calgary.

Day 03 – Cowboy Trail – Crowsnest Pass – Fort Steele 430 km
In the morning, all the luggage you need for the tour will be loaded into the support vehicle. First, you'll take the so-called Cowboy Trail. You'll cross the Crow's Nest Pass, which gained notoriety due to a massive landslide in the last century. You'll travel through the Rockies, via the ski resort of Fernie, to Fort Steele. More than 60 original houses, the general store, a newspaper printing press, and a working historic railway, depict life around 1890 in this museum village, which you can also visit. Fancy some Sauerbraten or smoked pork ribs? Then you've come to the right place for dinner in Kimberly. The top addresses are "The Old Farmer's House" or "Bavarian Platzl." Here you'll find everything North America considers German cuisine! (The apple strudel is really good!) With the
With the closure of the last mine in the 1970s, the idea of the Bavarian town was born. Today's overnight stay will be in the Kimberly area.
Day 04 – Kootenay-NP-Revelstoke 400-440km

Overnight in Kelowna.
Day 06 – Thompson & Fraser River – Hells Gate – Hope 340km
In the morning, you'll follow the Nicola River valley and reach the famous Thompson River at Spences Bridge. This flows into the wild Fraser River, which you'll follow along the Canada Highway. Along the wild gorges formed by this river, you'll reach Hell's Gate. In spring, up to 800 million liters of water per minute flow through this narrow passage, which is only 30 meters wide but over 60 meters deep.
