Daytona Bike Week 2026
Experience an exciting Harley motorcycle tour through sunny Florida with Rüdiger! We will discover the breathtaking landscapes and fascinating sights of the Sunshine State with you. From the endless beaches and charming towns on the coast to the picturesque roads inland, Florida offers a variety of experiences that can be experienced even more intensely on 2 wheels!
Day 1 – Flight to Orlando
The Florida adventure starts with the flight from your chosen departure point to Orlando (connecting flights possible). After the shuttle has taken you to the hotel, we will meet in the evening for a first meeting and a preliminary discussion of the route that awaits you in the coming days. Overnight in Orlando.
Day 2 Orlando
Today you have the day at your leisure. In the morning you have the opportunity to take part in a guided city tour or drive to one of the famous parks (optional, advance booking required). Overnight in Orlando.
Day 3 – Orlando – New Port Richey approx. 210km
After breakfast, we take over the machines together from our partner EagleRider. Afterwards we start our first stage. We drive towards the west coast and make a stop in Homosassa Springs. There we can visit the state park, which is known for its manatee population and many other native animal species. Heading south, we then approach today's destination, the charming town of New Port Richey, with its eclectic shops, varied restaurants and the beauty of the Cotee River. Enjoy the lively, relaxed atmosphere. Overnight in New Port Richey.
Day 4 – New Port Richey – Punta Gorda approx. 215km
Today we cruise further south along the west coast of Florida and the Gulf of Mexico. After a few miles we make a stop in the harbor of Tarpon Springs, the "sponge capital of the world". The Greek immigrants once built up the sponge industry here, the legacy of which still shapes the place today.
Before we roll on, we'll visit Bert's Black Widow Harley-Davidson in Port Charlotte – a cool stop for photos, a coffee and maybe a souvenir for your collection.
Our destination for the day is Punta Gorda, idyllically located on the banks of the Peace River and Charlotte Harbor. Here you can expect a fantastic view of the water, a picturesque harbour path for strolling as well as unique boutiques and restaurants. The historic houses and cobblestone streets in the city center exude the charm of bygone times.
Enjoy the enchanting views, the unique boutiques and restaurants. Historic houses along charming cobblestone streets in the city center are reminiscent of the splendor of times gone by. Overnight in Punta Gorda.
Day 5 – Punta Gorda – Key Largo approx. 340km
Today we cruise a bit along the west coast of Florida before we reach alligator country, the Everglades, on Highway 41 and cross it. Along the route we will
I am sure to get to see one or the other armored lizard. Optionally, you can take part in an exciting airboat tour through the "Land of Floating Grass". Today's tour ends on Key Largo, the northernmost island of the chain and the "World Capital of Divers".
End the day with live music in one of the bars, a walk along the beach or a boat trip. Overnight in Key Largo.
Day 6 – Key Largo – Key West approx. 160km
The journey from Key Largo to Key West is less than 160 kilometers long, but it offers plenty of beautiful views. We drive on the scenic Overseas Highway past hundreds of small islands.
After arrival and check-in, you will have time to discover the historic city of Key West with its many sights. The many theatres, museums, galleries, street cafés and legendary pubs are best explored on foot, by bike or by sightseeing bus.
OUR EVENING TIP: Take a pub crawl on Duval Street to check out the bar "Sloppy Joe's", Hogs Breath or Captain Tony's Saloon, which Hemmingway has already frequented. Overnight in Key West.
Day 7 – Key West – Fort Lauderdale approx. 305 km
Back over the 42 bridges we go back to the mainland. Fort Lauderdale awaits us today. The city is famous for its beautiful sandy beaches and scenic waterways, which have earned it the nickname "Venice of America." As you stroll along the promenade-like waterfront at Fort Lauderdale Beach, you'll find fantastic views of the fine sand and the Atlantic Ocean.
Particularly worth seeing is Las Olas Boulevard with its small boutiques, galleries, restaurants and cafés, which is perfect for a relaxing stroll. A special highlight is the Banyan Tree Tunnel, which runs along the streets of the city and creates an almost magical atmosphere with its huge, intertwined tree roots.
If you like, you can take a boat tour of the canals or visit the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens, a historic oasis in the middle of the city. Overnight in Fort Lauderdale.
Day 8 – Fort Lauderdale – Cocoa Beach approx. 285 km
On the coastal road A1A and the US1 to the north, we cruise through the elegant villa districts of Palm Beach and Boca Raton. Cocoa Beach, our destination for today, is part of the so-called Space Beaches on the Atlantic Ocean. The No. 1 attraction in Cocoa Beach is the pier, built in 1962. Here you will find everything a visitor's heart desires: bars, restaurants and shops. Cocoa Beach is closely connected to the Space Center in Cape Canaveral due to its location. From the beaches you can even watch the rocket launches. Overnight in Cocoa Beach.
Day 9 – Cocoa Beach – Daytona Beach approx. 120km
The short stage on the US1 towards Daytona takes us past Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center. If you want, you can take a tour here.
We reach a highlight of our trip with Daytona and the 85th Beach Bike Week. The Boot Hill Saloon or the Froggy ́s Saloon are just 2 of the trendy bars for evening fun. You can also visit the world-famous Harley-Davidson® store near Main Street to stock up on the first Bikeweek T-shirt. Overnight in Daytona Beach.
Day 10 – St. Augustine – St. Johns River approx. 250 km
In the morning, depart Daytona Beach for a day tour to travel along the scenic A1A coastal road to St. Augustine. At 500 years old, this is the oldest city in the USA and is also called the Rothenburg of North America. After a short orientation tour, you will take a look at the old town on foot. Along Highways 16/13 you then follow the St. Johns River. Old, overgrown with Spanish moss. Oak avenues take you to the deepest southern states. In the afternoon you will visit Destination Daytona, the largest Harley® shop in the world in terms of area and the associated event area. The journey home is then via Highway US 1, where some of the most famous biker bars, such as the Iron Horse, can be found. Overnight in Daytona Beach.
Day 11 – Daytona Beach Bike Week – free day
Today is at your disposal for your own explorations. Visit the Bike Week again or relax on the beach. Many dealers and attractions, such as the Daytona 500 race track, where the world's most famous car race is held, are on the program. Overnight in Daytona Beach.
Day 12 – Daytona – Orlando approx. 100 km
Tired but happy, we set off for the last stage of the tour. We cover the short distance from Daytona to Orlando on a direct route. After returning the bikes, the transfer to the airport will take place. Your flight home (connecting flights possible) will take you back to your point of departure.
