Daytona Bike Week  

The legend lives on!

1. Day – Flight to Orlando
Flight with a reputable scheduled airline from your chosen departure point to Orlando (transfer connection possible). Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide at the airport and taken to a centrally located mid-range hotel. Depending on the arrival time, the first meeting and tour briefing will take place in the evening, otherwise the next morning. Overnight stay in Orlando.

2. Day –Citrus Fruit Land – Edison Museum – Fort Myers 260 km
After breakfast, the luggage is loaded into the escort vehicle and the transfer to the rental station takes place during the morning. Unneeded luggage can be deposited at the hotel or rental station.
After completing the formalities and a brief briefing, you will take over your motorcycles and start your motorcycle tour through the Sunshine State of Florida.

Your journey through seemingly endless citrus groves, past Sebring, all the way to the Gulf Coast. By the afternoon you will already reach the west coast of Florida and the Ft area. Myers.After a brief photo stop at Thomas A. Edison's

3. Day – Everglades – Alligators – Florida Keys 260 kmToday you drive past Ft. Myers Beach and about
Today you will travel along Highway 41, the Tamimi Trail, which crosses alligator country and the Everglades.
You will surely see quite a few of these imposing animals along the route. You also have the opportunity to participate in an optional Propeller Boot Tour through the land of floating grass.
The tour continues through Florida's vegetable and orchard to your overnight location in the Gateway to the Keys. Overnight stay in the Florida City area.

4. Day – Key West – 7-mile bridge 220 km

After breakfast, you will tackle the remaining 42 bridges over the Keys (small islands). Your destination today is Key West. That really means you've arrived in the Caribbean. On Little Deer Key, with a bit of luck you might see an endemic and very small deer population. In Key West, you'll stop briefly at Memorial Beach and then have the whole afternoon to explore this small and historic town with its many attractions. Overnight stay in Key West.

OUR EVENING TIP: In the evening we recommend a cruise of about 2 hours on a large sailing catamaran
with live music at sunset (beer, wine, sparkling wine and snacks included). The tour takes place on the calm seaside, so even the not-so-sea festivals will have fun. Afterwards, a pub crawl on Duval Street is recommended to make the bar „Sloopy Joe's“, Hogs Breath or Captain Tony's Saloon, which Hemingway has already visited, unsafe.

 

5. Day – Atlantic Ocean – Gulf of Mexico – Fort Lauderdale – Sandy beaches 320 km
In the morning, the first thing you do is take a photo stop at the 90-mile marker; from here it's only about 145 km to Havana in Cuba. The tour now takes you back along Highway 1 over the Keys, where you will make a lunch stop at one of the well-known Tiki Bars. Now we'll take a connecting leg over the Florida Turnpike, where your final destination in the afternoon will be the exclusive seaside resort of Ft. Lauderdale, which is also called the Venice of America, has been reached. Overnight stay in a hotel near the beach in the Fort Lauderdale/Deerfield Beach area.

6. Day – Fort Lauderdale – Shopping and Rest Day
The day is at your leisure for relaxation and shopping. Overnight stay in the Fort Lauderdale/Deerfield Beach area.

OUR DAILY TIP:   On site, a factultative half-day tour to Miami Beach in the Art Deco District, to Bayside and to Little Havana is offered.

7. Tag - Palm Beach – Atlantic Coastal Road – Cocoa Beach 280 km
After breakfast, your tour continues north along coastal roads A1A and US 1. It passes through the villa districts of millionaires in Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach. From there, the journey continues along the surprisingly wild coast to Jupiter and on to Port Salerno and Jensen Beach, where you will spend your lunch break in a nice restaurant near the water. With a bit of luck, you might also get to see manatees, the Florida manatees, today. In the afternoon you will continue following the coastal road and reach the Melbourne/Cocoa Beach area, where you will also spend the night.

8. Day – Cape Canaveral – Daytona 140 km
In the morning you will leave the Cocoa Beach area and drive to Cape Canaveral. There is the option to participate in an optional tour of the Kennedy Space Center (advance booking required). You will reach Daytona Beach in the late afternoon – Your hotel for the next three nights is located near the famous Main Street. The Boot Hill Saloon, the Bank or Froggies are the trendy bars here for fun in the evening. You will also visit the world-famous Harley-Davidson® store near Main Street and already have enough time here to purchase the first Bikeweek T-shirt. Overnight stay in Daytona Beach.

9. Tag – St. Augustine – St. John's River 250 km
In the morning, your Daytona Beach leaves for a day trip to St. Augustine along the scenic A1A coastal road. At 500 years old, it is the oldest city in the USA and is also called the Rothenburg of North America. After a short orientation tour, you will explore the old town on foot. Along Highways 16/13, you'll follow the St. John's River. Old oak avenues covered in Spanish moss transport you to the deepest southern states. In the afternoon, you will visit Destination Daytona again, the world's largest Harley® store in terms of area and its associated event grounds. The journey home then takes you via Highway US 1, where some of the most famous biker bars, such as the Iron Horse, can also be found. Overnight stay in Daytona Beach.

10. Day – Daytona Beach Bike Week – Day off
Today is at your leisure for your own explorations. Visit Bike Week again or relax on the beach. Many dealers and attractions, such as the Cabbage Patch or the Daytona 500 racetrack, which hosts the world's most famous car race, are on the program. The Mainstreet, with its already well-known Harley-Davidson® store and plenty of other attractions, is still worth a stop here. You obviously have enough time here to look around in detail. Overnight stay in Daytona Beach.

11. Day – Orlando 110 km
Today you leave Daytona Beach in the morning and are sure to take away many beautiful Bike Week impressions. On a mix of country roads and interstate roads, you drive back towards Orlando. You will reach Orlando in the morning and drop off your machines at the local rental station. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Use the time to do the last errands for those who stayed home. Anyone who wishes can take a taxi to the Orlando Harley-Davidson® event grounds in the afternoon. You can then end the evening with a dinner together. Overnight stay in Orlando.

12. Day – Return flight to Europe
Depending on the departure time, you will still have time to visit one of the many parks. The shuttle transfer to Orlando Airport will take place later today. Flight home with a reputable scheduled airline (transfer connection possible) back to your chosen departure point.
